Referencing Style

Alphacrucis students may be asked to use one of two reference styles, namely Turabian or APA, depending on the unit.

1. Turabian Style Referencing

The Turabian style cites reference material in the footnotes and includes all relevant bibliographic information there. Footnotes provide the immediate details of a source from which the information has been acquired. Secondly, the Turabian style includes all the bibliographic information in a bibliography at the end of the paper. 2. APA style referencing

APA format requires students to follow specific guides in referencing, page layout, as well as headings and subheadings.  Please see pdf on main moodle site for information regarding this.

 All sources must be accurately referenced in text as well as in the complete list of references at the end of the essay. For thorough instruction on referencing, please refer to the APA style manual or the reference resources provided for individual classes. A sample list of references is provided below.
