All students studying at AC must complete the plagiarism quiz for referencing format required for your subject discipline. AC Referencing and Plagiarism Information provides useful information to help you prepare with your Plagiarism Quiz.

Turabian is the preferred referencing style for the School of Theology, APA is the preferred referencing style for all other schools. If completing subjects across multiple schools, you should always check with your lecturer to confirm the referencing style they will accept. 

Students must receive at least 90% on this quiz and must record the date they achieved this grade on the cover page of all assignments for this subject. e.g "100% achieved on Plagiarism Test 31/3/2022". If you do not achieve at least 90% on your first attempt at the quiz you can re-do the test as many times as you need. 

Students who are then found to be plagiarising in an assignment will receive an automatic fail grade for that assessment task.

Use the Student Request for Extension to request an extension. Make sure you use the correct course code, the code will be made up of 3 letters and 3 numbers, and usually be prefixed to the Subject Name (e.g. ACA101 Faith and Purpose). Also, note the criteria for qualifying for an extension listed on the above page that needs to be inserted in the form.
